INJURY: Nate Pearson Fractures Ulna
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitching prospect Nate Pearson made his season debut for High-A Dunedin today but exited in the second inning after being nailed in his right (pitching) arm with a hard hit comebacker. Jason Woodell (@JasonAtTheGame) was at the game and shared this video and update:

According to Woodell’s report, Pearson fractured his ulna and will likely be out at least six weeks. This is terrible luck for a big pitching prospect that was listed as a potential fast-rising candidate by many prospect observers heading into the season.
