In their second game of the three game series, the Bluefield Blue Jays came out swinging early on and took it to the Pulaski Yankees, winning 12-5.
Bluefield put up a three spot in the second inning thanks to a solo jack from Angel Camacho and a two-run oppo taco from DJ Daniels.

Bluefield tallied another run in the third, extending their lead to 4-0 off of a Addison Barger homer.
However, that lead would quickly diminish in the bottom half of the frame when the P-Yanks tallied four runs thanks to a Roberto Chirinos RBI groundout. With bases juiced, Antonio Cabello cleared them with a three-run RBI double.

That would be all Pulaski would score until the seventh inning.
Bluefield’s starter Alejandro Melean went 2.2 innings, allowing four runs but had three strikeouts.

He was lifted and replaced by Yunior Hinojosa, who went 3.1 innings striking out five, not allowing a run and got his first win of the season. In all, the Jays’ had 12 strikeouts on the night.
Bluefield and Pulaski will wrap up their three game set on Sunday with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 pm.
