Physical teenager with loud tools, this is the type of player you dream on.

It’s hard to believe this kid was just 18 years old in 2019. He has an extra large frame with long legs and broad shoulders and may not be done growing. The plus raw power already plays in games, and a few of the homers he hit in Kane County were to straightaway centerfield. The approach at the plate is strong, but he will chase breaking balls down and away. He has a plan at the plate and will key in on locations or certain pitches. Robinson gets in deep counts due to his passivity, and a large percentage of the strikeouts come as a result. He will chase pitches, especially up, in these spots.

On the basepaths and in the field he eats up ground quickly because of how long his strides are. He’s likely just an above-average runner on foot speed alone, but he eats up so much ground due to his long limbs. He’s a corner outfielder for me at maturity, but could play center in small stretches. He’s going to get bigger and stronger which will solidify him as a left fielder for me. The ceiling here is immense, and that’s why Robinson is a near consensus top 25 prospect.
