INJURY: Adbert Alzolay Leaves Game With Injury

Chicago Cubs top pitching prospect Adbert Alzolay left Tuesday’s start for the AAA Iowa Cubs with a back muscle strain, according to Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register. Alzolay had thrown four perfect innings prior to being lifted with the injury. A DL stint is possible. Alzolay, 23, has been unspectacular through 8 starts this season, posting a 2-4 record and 4.75 FIP.
