INJURY: Christin Stewart Suffers Minor Calf Injury

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Christin Stewart suffered an injury to his right calf during Tuesdays game for the AAA Toledo MudHens. According to MLB.com’s Tigers beat reporter Jason Beck, the team believes that Stewart’s calf injury is minor, and he is only expected to miss a short period of time. Stewart, 24, was the Tigers 1st round pick in the 2015 draft. He’s enjoying a stellar season in 2018 thus far, posting a .376 wOBA and 138 wRC+ with 15 HR in 72 AAA games this season.
