INJURY: Jake Burger Re-Tears Achilles

Chicago White Sox 3B prospect Jake Burger, the team’s 2017 1st round draft pick, suffered a setback from his Achilles tendon injury when he re-tore his Achilles tendon walking around his home last week. According to the team’s official Twitter feed, Burger underwent surgery again Tuesday to repair the tear. He will be unable to participate in baseball activities for approximately 12 months and will lose nearly 2 full years of development time. He can be dropped in all but the deepest of dynasty leagues.
